“I have been a prosecutor for almost 34 years, and today’s presentation was an important opportunity to re-examine some long-held ideas, beliefs, and practices.”
“I really appreciate the webinars put on by Prosecutors Alliance. I make it a point to attend because the information is shared in such an accessible way; it’s easy to understand and apply. I also value that the presenters take the time to answer all the questions thoroughly, which makes the sessions feel engaging and responsive. That combination keeps me coming back every time!”
“I have been to a lot of conferences in my time, and this was one of the most, if not the most, productive and useful. It was great to meet others engaged in the same challenges.”
“I finally have a community to discuss this work with and to learn from. I have been litigating these cases for over 3 years and it has been a challenge to find prosecutors with experience with these types of cases to think through some of the unique issues that arise.”
The Prosecutors Alliance trains prosecutors and victim advocates on practices that improve the system from within.
The Prosecutors Alliance provides free monthly virtual trainings for prosecutors and victim advocates and an annual in-person conference.
Our Third Thursday trainings are free trainings on the law, prosecutorial practice, and criminal justice policy, aimed at prosecutors across the country. CA MCLE credit is available for all of these trainings, including General Education and other specialized MCLE categories.
Our Survivor Center trainings – held on the first Tuesday of the month – are free trainings that provide victim advocates, prosecutors, and allies the knowledge and tools to effectively support survivors of crime.

“This training gave me ideas on how to understand what a victim/survivor might be thinking after an incident and what I can do to help empower them and give them their sense of safety back.”
“I am forever grateful for having had the opportunity to take this course and gain knowledge that I will be able to use as I move forward in my career.”
“Shifting my focus to starting from an assumption that the victim’s response is coming from a place of trauma will help me to be a much stronger advocate.”
“I am now more aware of the myriad of responses someone can have to trauma. This information will help me be more mindful of the ways I can remove barriers for clients.”
