Training: Legal Relief for Immigrant Defendants in California
In this training, co-sponsored by the Prosecutors Alliance and the Immigrant Legal Resource Center (ILRC), we will highlight some basics of federal immigration law, the duties of the prosecution imposed by recent California state legislation, and a collaborative approach to handling both current plea negotiations and post-conviction relief litigation.
Eligible for 2 hours of Elimination of Bias MCLE credit in California. The Immigrant Legal Resource Center is a State Bar of California MCLE provider. We will provide a Certificate of Attendance for California MCLE to anyone licensed in California and a Uniform Certificate of Attendance to non-California licensed attorneys.
