As the country’s first reform-oriented law enforcement association, the Prosecutors Alliance is advancing the conversation on how we create public safety and promote justice. 

Prosecutors are some of the most powerful actors in the criminal legal system, deciding who will be prosecuted, what charges they will face, and the sentences they will serve. Yet, the voices of prosecutors – and other system actors – who understand the need for criminal justice reform are often drowned out by traditional law enforcement organizations that reflexively oppose change.

The Prosecutors Alliance fills this gap by bringing together prosecutors, victim advocates, crime survivors, and allies committed to creating safer, healthier communities. We have more than 4,000 members nationwide and work with local and state leaders and leading criminal justice experts to amplify reform efforts and provide training on smart, sustainable solutions that advance public safety and community well-being. The Prosecutors Alliance is guided by research, practitioner experience, community input, and a commitment to the dignity of every individual in our community.
